“海外中国”论坛是由中国河海大学举办的年度性学术会议，是专家学者、政府领导、各界同仁沟通交流与经验分享的协同平台。本届论坛由中国河海大学和泰国易三仓大学的深度合作促成，旨在搭建跨国产学研协同创新平台，书写跨境合作、民心相通新篇章。

The 4^th“Overseas China” Forum

Cross-boarder Synergy, One Belt and Road, Lancang-Mekong Cooperation, Community of Shared Future for Humankind

Thailand •Bangkok,  August 24^th-26^th2018

In the era of turbulent international environment, Lancang-Mekong Cooperation is still forging ahead and making remarkable progresses. Following the Second Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Leaders’ Meeting, the 4^th“Overseas China” Forum, first time conducting abroad, will be held in Bangkok Thailand which is known as the City of Angels. With the flourishing trend of “Overseas China”, this forum will take a solid step of cross-boarder synergy by focusing on the development of Lancang-Mekong region which is the first overseas intersection of the One Belt and Road Initiative. People in Lancang-Mekong region are nourished by the same river and fates are closely linked. Therefore, hosting the forum there will boost the international friendship among countries in this region, contribute to the implementation of Lancang-Mekong Cooperation, and promote the undertaking of building a community of shared future for all humankinds.

The “Overseas China” Forum is an annual academic conference organized by Hohai University, China. It is a synergic platform for communicating and sharing experiences among scholars, government officers and all colleagues. The present forum is collaboratively held by Hohai University, China and Assumption University, Thailand. The main purpose of this forum lies in building an innovative platform for industry-university-research synergy and writing a new chapter of cross-boarder cooperation and people-to-people bonds.
